2008 promises to be another fun year at Crane Neck Tree Farm. Most of our cut your own selection this season will be Balsam fir ranging from 6' to 9' tall. We have a limited number of Douglas Fir to cut. We also have one patch of "very natural" Norway spruce (which should not be harvested until Dec. 6th or later) that are quite large and not very tightly pruned. Most cut your own trees will be $50 tax included.  A few will be tagged for slightly more and the Norway Spruce will be less.

HOURS OF OPERATION :2008

11/28(The day after Thanksgiving) is opening day.  We will be open everyday until we sell out of trees for the season. Best guess is that this will be by the end of the weekend of the 13th and 14th of Dec. Feel free to call ahead. We do not return calls until after dark. You can try cell number listed on faq page but reception on farm is weak.

DAILY HOURS: 9AM TO 4PM

TRACTOR RIDES STOP AT 3:30PM

Please allow ample time as the tractor rides stop taking people into the farm prior to dark.

Selecting the perfect tree can take anywhere from a half hour to three hours depending on what you want to make of it.

"HASSLE FREE" TREE STAND
 
Our "hassle free" tree stand will eliminate the frustration of putting your tree up and getting it straight. We guarantee your tree will go up in under 5 minutes!! The tree is drilled here at the farm and works in conjunction with our stands. Drilling is free for all trees purchased at our farm for year after year. The one time cost for the tree stand is, small: $28.00 and large: $30.00. Try it, you'll be happy you did!!

PRICING:

Most trees will be priced from $50 to $60 tax included. TREES ARE PRICED BY VARIETY NOT SIZE. PLEASE NOTE THAT SMALL TREES COST $50 AS WELL. This is so we can continue to try to have full size trees available each year. Most cut your own trees available this season are 6' to 9'  tall

PLEASE NOTE SMALL TREES COST THE SAME AS LARGE TREES UNLESS THEY ARE SPECIALLY MARKED.  Please inquire if you are looking for a small tree. (under 4 feet tall).
